A good garden retreat
Breakfast featured local produce, nice dining experience.
While the stairs added to the charm, the narrow passages may not be ideal with mobility issues.

Breakfast was gorgeous and outstanding, appreciated the position.
I had a fantastic experience here, everything was excellent, the location was stunning just off Long Melford, local attractions, and a beautiful garden, a good shower and lots to see in the area. The breakfast had a wide range of options, croissants, cereals, and fruit. The rooms were fantastic and immaculate with the huge bed.

Couldn't recommend more for a brief retreat
Charming atmosphere, attentive hosts, with a beautifully modernized bathroom that offered all necessary amenities including free parking and Wi-Fi, making it perfect for exploring the nearby area just 36 km from the airport.
Can't think of anything.

Comfortable common areas create a homely atmosphere.
The narrow stairs and low beams were quite challenging. I found myself bumping my head a few times on the low beams, and the narrow passages felt a bit constricted. The lack of ample space was frustrating and took away from the overall experience.

Lovely stay with awesome hosts
Had such a nice time! Kay and Doug were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a standout, especially the fresh homemade pastries. We even spotted some cool birds thanks to the binoculars in our room. Just wish the bathroom was a bit bigger, but everything else was perfect.

The stay featured superb attention to detail, particularly in the presentation of the breakfast with good homemade pastries and fresh fruit. The character of the Beautiful Suite, with its charming historic elements. Tall guests may need to navigate carefully due to some low beams, and there were moments when the ambiance could be disturbed by nearby traffic. The narrow staircases might also pose challenges for those with mobility issues.
